Closing Reflections - Round Robin
- Holding the space well allows for the appropriate structure to arise
- Shared commitments
- Ending isn't failing
- Motivated to learn more about LC
- GLC's are not really LCs
- Liked the process
- Impressed with ability to rething our work in thes process and space
- This is indeed how we learn. This is sacred work.
- How learning circles can function and what elements are.
- Grandmother and the Priests by Taylor Caldwell - Miracles happen in the wake of the work and we can't always see them.
- Graciousness
- Desire to move beyond and share my experience and help other people hold the container as well.
- Take aways
- Importance of metaphors in communication
- Life flashed before my eyes with personal and professional revelations. Saw value in the process. Thanks for modeling. Ask hard questions but ask with heart.
- Commnality of language
- Created a learning community in this space and short period of time.
- Honoring and letting go of what's not working or what's completed to make room for new beginnings and regeneration.
- Recognizing and engaging differently with the learning communities that we are a part of but didn't realize it.
Deltas (Pop Up)
- Roving Conversation helped to have recorder answer questions instead of prod.
- Too many questions in the roving conversation
- Vet questions to make sure they are the right ones
- Shorten the time in the rotation
- Put information on the sticky wall and the technology of the sticky wall on the wiki.
- Want to see more information (data/documentation) on the action research LLC has been involved in.
- Would like to see a bibliography after the session.
Positives (Pop Up)
- Focus on questions was excellent
- Following other folks was a great and interesting process
- High intention toward purpose and good balance between opennes and structure
- Hosting was excellent and contributed greatly to the success of this
- Ditto on the incredible facillitation and modeling of a learning community
- Modeling for listening
