The social web is a brand new way of doing very old things with still emerging implications. The nature of change has always been connected and collective, but our recent history and the infrastructure of the nonprofit sector, and therefore our organizations, has been much less so.
We as a people, and our communication tools, are on a path to bring the individual and the collective back into balance and planning for this is both impossible and necessary. A document in progress examining this shift is available on the LLC website.
Join the Bay Area Learning Circle of the Leadership Learning Community on Friday, May 16th for a conversation about social media and leadership and the implications for change movements. Elissa Perry has been facilitating conversations about this topic in a number of settings and will share her observations and questions, come prepared with yours!
We invite you to join us for a rich conversation and tasty lunch! Please RSVP to Bella Celnik so that we can be sure to have enough refreshments for all.
